Bosch Rexroth is set to showcase a range of factory automation solutions for consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturers at PACK EXPO 2026, addressing the constantly changing market trends and customer preferences that create complex demands for production operations.
Visitors to Booth #S-1654 will see a range of drives, conveyors, palletising systems and automation technologies that are already used across thousands of CPG operations worldwide.
Conveyance Solutions for CPG Applications
Bosch Rexroth’s conveyance portfolio for CPG applications includes its VarioFlow range, with both the VarioFlow Plus and VarioFlow belt conveyor systems being used for material transport worldwide. The solutions are designed to manage product flow efficiently and support production throughput requirements.
The VarioFlow Plus demonstration at the event will feature a spiralled exhibit with a downward slope leading to a buffer table. The setup will demonstrate the conveyor’s flexibility and space-saving capabilities.
The VarioFlow belt conveyor will feature a modular belt chain with a fine-meshed, virtually closed flat surface. The configuration makes the system suitable for mass transport of unstable or bulk, film-packed products, including small sealed edge bags. Its modular design allows for flexible belt widths and configurations, allowing manufacturers to adapt the system to various production demands and increase efficiency.
Bosch Rexroth will also demonstrate a complete palletising solution that integrates a VarioFlow plus conveyor with Bosch Rexroth aluminium framing and a new Kassow Robots KR 1824 cobot. The setup represents the growing adoption of collaborative robots in the industry.
Another conveyor technology on display will be Bosch Rexroth’s high-speed smart conveyance solution, ctrlX FLOWHS. The transport system offers acceleration of up to 10 g and speeds of up to 5 m/s. With small movers and product spacing of just 40 mm, CtrlX FLOWHS can operate efficiently in confined production environments and can be integrated into production lines while maintaining a space-saving design.
Automation and Drive Technologies
Bosch Rexroth will also present its ctrlX AUTOMATION platform at PACK EXPO 2026. The platform provides integrated and modular automation solutions for the packaging industry, helping CPG manufacturers achieve production results faster.
Attendees will also see the company’s ctrlX DRIVE cabinet-free IP65/IP67 system. The solution can effectively eliminate the need for a control cabinet, creating additional space for modular and lean production setups.
With high scalability and consistent openness, the ctrlX DRIVE servo drive is designed to support modern machine concepts used in CPG applications.
Through its PACK EXPO 2026 showcase, Bosch Rexroth will bring together conveyance, palletising, drives, and automation technologies to support the changing requirements of CPG manufacturing operations.
