E Tech Group, a leading provider of industrial automation and systems integration, 2025 System Integrator of the Year, and Platinum-certified Rockwell Automation Partner, has announced that Sura Hadi, Director of Laboratory Automation and Industrial Robotics (LAIR), will present at the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Boston Area Chapter 2026 Product Show on October 7 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Sura Hadi’s session, “From Pilot to Production: Scaling Lab Automation Without Breaking Compliance, Data Integrity, or Teams,” will take place at 3:00 p.m. ET in West Red Level, Suite 81. E Tech Group will also exhibit at Booth W69, where attendees can meet the company’s life sciences automation specialists throughout the show.
The presentation will examine why laboratory automation pilots that succeed in contained workflows often encounter new challenges in regulated production. As automation expands beyond individual instruments, production environments require connections among instruments, scheduling systems, Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN), and other enterprise platforms, along with validated interfaces, audit-ready data practices, change control, and clearly defined system ownership.
“A successful pilot proves that the automation can work. Production requires proving that the organisation can operate it every day under regulatory scrutiny,” said Sura Hadi. “The organisations that make that transition well are the ones that plan for integration, validation and ownership before the pilot is over.”
Sura has more than 20 years of experience in life sciences automation and leads E Tech Group’s Laboratory Automation and Industrial Robotics (LAIR) vertical. Her work focuses on integrating laboratory instruments, robotics, data infrastructure, and automation systems to support scalable workflows in regulated life sciences environments. She is also a frequent conference speaker and is developing a short course for the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS).
