Infineon Technologies Asia Pacific Pte Ltd and Tack One Pte Ltd have been honored at the 2026 SICC Awards by the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC), winning the “Best Technological Collaboration” category and being named a finalist for “Most Sustainable Collaboration.” The recognition celebrates their joint efforts to develop FloodFinder™, an intelligent urban flood monitoring system designed to support smarter and more resilient cities.
The partnership between the two companies has resulted in FloodFinder™, a patent-pending, self-powered solution designed to deliver fast, real-time flood monitoring without relying on external infrastructure. The system brings together Infineon’s advanced sensing and semiconductor capabilities with Tack One’s expertise in ultra-low-power IoT architecture, wireless connectivity, field deployment and cloud integration. Through pressure and environmental sensing technologies, FloodFinder™ provides accurate and timely water-level measurements.
Built to operate across both urban and rural environments, FloodFinder™ strengthens flood preparedness and enables government authorities and local communities to make informed, data-driven decisions, including during power outages. The solution is already helping safeguard communities in Brunei, Taiwan, the Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand.
“We are proud to receive this recognition from SICC for our collaboration with Infineon.FloodFinder™ was developed to address a critical gap in urban flood monitoring by combining advanced sensing with ultra-low-power IoT innovation. The result is a practical, scalable and sustainable solution that can be deployed where it is needed most.”-Justin Zhang, CEO of Tack One Pte Ltd
“Together with Tack One, we have developed a solution that brings together advanced sensing, efficient system design and ease of deployment to address an urgent environmental challenge using Infineon’s state-of-the-art XENSIV™ sensors,” said CS Chua, President and Managing Director of Infineon Technologies Asia Pacific. “This recognition from SICC highlights the strength of cross-industry collaboration in creating technologies that are not only innovative and cost-effective, but also scalable, sustainable and capable of delivering meaningful impact for communities.”
