Quasi Robotics Releases Model C2 Software 3.3 with Enhanced Fleet Management and Navigation

Quasi Robotics, a developer of autonomous mobile robotic solutions, has announced the release of software version 3.3 for its Model C2 Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). The update expands fleet-management capabilities, enhances navigation performance, and provides operators with greater control over robot behaviour and route configuration.

The most significant addition is integration with the InOrbit robot-operations platform, enabling Model C2 deployments to connect with an enterprise platform designed for centralised fleet visibility, monitoring, analytics, incident management, and remote operations. InOrbit’s hardware-agnostic architecture also supports heterogeneous fleets, helping organisations manage robots from multiple vendors through a unified operational environment.

“In version 3.3, we focused on capabilities that make Model C2 fleets easier to operate, configure, and scale,” said Vlad Lebedev, CEO of Quasi Robotics. “The InOrbit integration gives customers access to a broader robot-operations ecosystem, while the navigation and user-interface enhancements make everyday fleet management more efficient.”

Key features in Model C2 software version 3.3 include:

  • Integration with InOrbit Fleet Management – Connects Model C2 robots with InOrbit’s robot-operations platform, providing access to centralised fleet monitoring and operational data. Depending on the customer’s InOrbit configuration, the platform supports real-time fleet visibility, configurable dashboards, analytics, incident management, remote actions, and interoperability with other robotic and enterprise systems.
  • Configurable Collision Avoidance – Allows operators to adjust how Model C2 responds to nearby obstacles, helping organisations align robot behaviour with the traffic patterns and operating requirements of each facility.
  • More Consistent Navigation Around Dynamic Obstacles – Prevents temporary or moving obstacles from unnecessarily triggering path replanning. This helps the robot maintain a more stable route while its collision-avoidance system responds locally to people, vehicles, and other transient objects.
  • Improved Straight-Line Driving Performance – Refines motion control to produce more accurate and consistent straight-line travel, supporting smoother operation in aisles, corridors, and other structured environments.
  • Waypoint Creation and Editing on the Area Map – Operators can now create and modify waypoints directly on the Area Map, reducing the number of steps required to configure destinations and update workflows.
  • Waypoint Lists for Routes – Adds the ability to view all waypoints assigned to a route, making routes easier to review, verify, and maintain.
  • Local Gravity Compensation Through IMU Calibration – Adds an inertial measurement unit calibration option that accounts for local variations in gravitational acceleration, helping maintain consistent sensor calibration across geographically dispersed deployments.
  • Additional User-Interface Improvements – Includes various interface refinements designed to simplify configuration and enhance the overall operator experience.

Version 3.3 continues Quasi Robotics’ focus on making autonomous material transportation dependable, manageable, and scalable for real-world commercial and industrial environments.
